Spring Voices, April 10 – May 24, 2015

Celebrate Spring in Almonte! From April 10 to May 24, 2015, Sivarulrasa Studio & Gallery presents Spring Voices, a group exhibition featuring five regional artists who draw their inspiration from nature. Curated by Sanjeev Sivarulrasa, the show brings together artists Barbara Gamble (Ottawa), Joseph Pearce (Kemptville), Deborah Arnold (Almonte), Eliane Saheurs (Ottawa), and Jean Morrow (Almonte). Using oil, acrylic, wax, stone, and metal, the artists explore themes of energy, renewal and resurgence – a harmony of light, colour, texture and form, celebrating nature’s promise.

Vernissage/Opening Reception, Saturday April 11, 2015, 3pm to 6pm: Meet the artists! Enjoy an afternoon of fine art and a musical performance by The Fine Tuners, a delightful ensemble of young violinists from the music school Ottawa Suzuki Strings. Free admission.

Artists Panel: “Inspired by Nature”, Saturday May 2, 2015, 2pm to 4pm: Hear the artists talk about their inspiration, their artistic processes, and their unique artistic visions. Includes  coffee and chocolate tasting. Free admission.
