From June 6 to July 10, Sivarulrasa Gallery is delighted to present CATHY ROSS: THE SEASONS. The exhibition features new works in watercolour by artist Cathy Ross, exploring themes of the four seasons. “As an artist I am interested in looking closely and carefully at my subject matter,” she says. “I hope my work invites others to see the wonder in the small, often overlooked details of the ordinary and the ephemeral beauty of the natural world.”

Cathy Ross was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. She studied at Mount Allison University and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her work has been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in Canada and the United States, and has been supported by grants from the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts. Her paintings are held in many private and public collections across Canada including Memorial University, New Brunswick Museum, Canada Council Art Bank, Banff Centre, Dofasco Inc., and the Burnaby Art Centre. She currently lives and works in Waterloo, Ontario and Saint Andrews, New Brunswick.
